Chrome on Android installs DentBooks as a real app — its own icon, no browser bar, opens instantly.

STEP 1

Open Chrome's menu

In Chrome, open getdentbook.com/app.html and sign in. Tap the three-dot menu at the top-right, then scroll until you see Add to Home screen. Tap it.

Tap Install

Tip If your Chrome shows Add to Home screen instead of Install app, tap that — same result. The wording depends on your Chrome version and whether Android recognized DentBooks as a PWA-ready site.

STEP 3

Find DentBooks on your home screen

DentBooks now lives on your home screen alongside your other apps — same icon, no browser bar. Tap it any time to open the dashboard directly.

iPhone · Safari (or Chrome)

Four taps via the Share menu.

Safari is the standard path. On iOS 16.4 or later, Chrome and Edge also support installing — same Share-menu flow.

  1. Open DentBooks in Safari

    Go to getdentbook.com/app.html in Safari and sign in. If you'd rather use Chrome or Edge, that works too on iOS 16.4 or later — the Share-menu steps below are identical.

  2. Tap the Share button

    The Share button is the square with an upward arrow inside — at the bottom-center of Safari on iPhone (or top-right on iPad). Tap it.

  3. Tap "Add to Home Screen"

    Scroll down in the share sheet until you see Add to Home Screen. Tap it. You'll see a small preview of the DentBooks icon and a name field.

  4. Tap "Add" — top-right

    Edit the name if you want a custom label (the default is just "DentBooks"), then tap Add in the top-right corner of the screen. DentBooks now lives on your home screen — tap it any time to open like a regular app.

Tip Can't find Add to Home Screen in the share sheet? Scroll down — it lives below the row of app icons (AirDrop, Messages, etc), in the secondary action list. On older iOS versions you may need to tap Edit Actions and toggle it on first.
